Meet Dr. Emmy Graber

Emmy M. Graber, MD, MBA is the Founder of The Dermatology Institute of Boston, a private practice in Boston, Massachusetts where she specializes in treating acne and acne scars. Dr. Graber has previously held positions at Boston University and is a graduate of the Penn State College of Medicine and The Wharton School of Business.  With fifteen years of clinical experience, Dr. Emmy Graber is internationally known for her expertise in acne and acne scarring as a practitioner, researcher, and consultant. She is well recognized by her peers for her contributions to the acne field and is the author of many well-recognized acne publications including Treatment of Acne Vulgaris in UpToDate, Acne Vulgaris in Fitzpatrick’s Dermatology Textbook, and American Academy of Dermatology Acne Treatment Guidelines.  Dr. Emmy Graber also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Acne and Rosacea Society and is the founder and Director of The Acne and Rosacea Meeting.

Dr. Emmy Graber completed her medical school training and residency training at The Pennsylvania State University and underwent laser fellowship training at SkinCare Physicians of Chestnut Hill. She then practiced dermatology with that group for two years prior to working at Boston University. At Boston University, Dr. Emmy Graber was Director of the BU Cosmetic and Laser Center.  She was also the associate residency program director and taught many medical students, resident physicians and international physicians in-training.  In 2014 Dr. Graber completed her MBA at the University of Pennsylvania’s esteemed Wharton School of Business.
